O.K., fair enough. This was made by someone I know, but works fine. I've never had the original child theme and never seen it offered anywhere.

You don't really need to use a child theme created by them, its very easy to use your own. Many tutorials om google on how to make one, this one seems good: https://wpklik.com/wordpress-tutorials/creating-child-theme/

There used to be plugins to create child theme too, look them up!
