Okay, what I did is really simple:
- Go to Admin Panel/Content/Custom BB codes.
- Create a new BB code.
- Give it a name (whatever you want, example: download_button)
- Create a simple HTML markup in the "HTML replacement section". (I also udes CSS styling, but of course it isn't necessary). Use {text} parameter, so later we can put a download link, or any custom text to this placeholder.
- Save your custom BB code.
- In your post, write a simple text (anything you want, example: Download now!) and format the text with our download_button (in my case: GOMB_WARNING) BB code.
- After that apply a (download) hyperlink to your full text (including the [ ] start and [/ ] BB code syntax).
- Thats it, you have your own button.

Here on Babiato, Babak uses Xenforo Resource Manager Addon, thats how you can convert your post to a download. It is totally an other thing like pasting a button to your post. XenForo Resource Manager provides you selling or giving your users downloadable content.
