( HELP ) small Photoshop modification

Hello, i need a small modification on photoshop or illustrator on a file .PSD, its has some layers, i want to change one layer, change(insert) the image(png or jpg).

its a smart object double click on the icon in that layer - it will open as a new document - in that document - place and scale your image and then press ctrl+s - your edit will reflect on your psd

I moved it to request section cause it was on website support and development.
