I am using ipb board and wanted to add email settings..I have added all smtp settings and there is a green signal...But whenever i send if from Outlook/ my email server

The email is not recieved at all...

Why ?
Is it i have to enable some settings for domain..Btw i am using direct admin panel..

A help is expected !!

If you use Cloudflare or someone like that, first check your Mail DNS, for example ( Mail.yourDomain.com ), it must be without a proxy .
If you have a VPS or dedicated server , check your RDNS ( Reverse DNS lookup )

after that use this https://www.mail-tester.com/ for find an other problem .
 
Is your email server from your home? If so, a lot of ISPs will block SMTP because of spam. You are better off trying a 3rd party email server from your hosting company, gmail, etc.. or even better, use a transactional email service. A lot of them offer free emails for the first xxx emails you send each month
