Help me about footer removel and slideshow

This is a very old post, exactly a year old, but I am posting this, if someone need this again. The steps are as follows:

Warning: Do not edit the Parent Theme. Not only it will not work when Child Theme is installed, but you will loose all your customization after updating the theme. So, install the Parent theme and then install the related Child theme first.​

Now,

Step 1: First set your style in the way shown in the picture below:



This way, the 'Style Chooser' will be disabled for all other users except 'Admin'.

Step 2: Go to Appearance->Styles-> Templates and search 'page_container' (see pic below):



Step 3: Open the file. Go to the line number 920 OR find the highlighted code and change as shown in the pic below:



Remember, DO NOT END THIS "<!-- " WITH THIS " --> ". Only put the starting " <!-- ". DO EXACTLY AS SHOWN IN THE PICTURE.

Step 4: Change "example.com" and "Test Site" with your website's address and name respectively.

I have downloaded many resources and got help from this forum. This is a small try to give something back.
