I believe that is because the newer version has a different functions.php file.

Here is an updated version of the functions.php for Boxcoin 1.2.2 which skips license check. Try it out and let me know.

I stand corrected it does not work. Well everything works but when trying to pay. Its just sites at loading.. Shows logo but nothing else loads. :(
