If you downloaded the program from here, I think you cannot update it, If you bought it from the official website, it includes the duration of your update subscription, assuming you bought 6 months subscription, then you can update the program during this period، If your update subscription expires, you can purchase a new subscription to update it.
 
have installed it on VPS but whatever I want to do changes like uploading the logos it says You don't have permission for the resource...
Can anyone please help me???

does anyone know of a way to do incremental updates without having to reinstall the script each time a new version comes out?

It's not possible just change url in config.php file from cs-cart.com to gograbe.in so you don't get any error.
