Rewrite code showing all over website..

Our wordpress website having issue of showing htaccess rewrite code all over our website & also in wordpress admin dashboard on top of every page.

this is the code

“RewriteEngine On RewriteBase / RewriteRule ^.*\.[pP][hH].* index.php [L] RewriteRule ^.*\.[sS][uU][sS][pP][eE][cC][tT][eE][dD] index.php [L]”

its showing on top of every page, really dont know how its showing everywhere.. pls. open attached image for better visual.

pls. help what needs to be done..

The problem is that the .htaccess is badly formatted. You must fix it.
My recommendation is that you remove the .htaccess and simply put the default WordPress one, to remove all fuss that might be interferring.

@MusoniusRufus have already done the same.. deleted old .htaccess file and generated new one by wordpress without the above code.. but still the issue persisted ..

sorted the issue on my own.. it was due to one of the plugin , have updated to a new one and sorted the issue.
